In Shinjuku Ni-Chome, red neighborhood of Tokyo, there are establishments with bright neon lights proposing “urisen” services. However, most of the young men working there are “gay for pay”—heterosexuals who have intercourse with men. This bashful and subtle documentary paints the portrait of several of those boys, who explain without detour how they are recruited and the conditions in which they live and work.
